Blue whale at the coast of Sri Lanka

In this week’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge, we’re challenging bloggers to photograph what they feel best represents the theme Wildlife!

We saw this wonderful sight at the coast of Sri Lanka. One rarely gets to see a blue whale so close. We were told to be quiet  and having listened to the captains orders;  the whale came to check out our boat.  It swam around and under our boat, so we were able to see it up and close –  It was impressive!

This one was so easy – and hard… I obviously thought of the obvious choices,  married couples… then  two of something like two elephants,  two window frames… and then I thought:  think out of the box.
